Daily Light is a devotional app that presents a daily Bible reading alongside a reflection, and lets you explore Scripture through Conversation Mode, "Understand Something," and the Life Library. It's provided for personal, reflective and educational use. It is not a religious authority, a substitute for a faith community or clergy, or any kind of counseling, medical, legal or financial service.

Today's Light reflections, Conversation Mode replies, Understand Something explanations, and Life Library's guidance search are generated by an AI model, grounded in a specific, pre-selected Bible passage or a curated set of passages. The Bible passages themselves come from a fixed, verified translation (see About) or the Life Library's own written content — but the reflection, commentary and conversational text around them is written by AI, in real time, based on what you type.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or theological soundness of AI-generated content. It can be wrong, generic, or not reflect the specific teaching or nuance of any particular faith tradition. Treat it as a starting point for your own reflection, not a final word.

Nothing in Daily Light — including AI-generated reflections, "practical challenges," or guidance search results — is medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice, diagnosis or treatment, and none of it is written or reviewed by a licensed professional in any of those fields. If you're dealing with a medical, mental-health, legal or financial situation, please talk to a qualified professional. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a local emergency service or crisis line right away — don't rely on this app.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what you submit through it. Don't use Daily Light to submit content that's illegal, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights, and don't try to abuse, overload or reverse-engineer the service (including scripted/automated use of the AI features beyond normal personal use).

What you type into Journal, Conversation Mode, Understand Something or "My Journey" is yours. We don't claim ownership of it — we process and store it only to provide the features described in our Privacy Policy.

The Daily Light app — its design, code, written reflections, Life Library content and branding — belongs to Daily Light or its licensors. Bible text is displayed under the terms of its respective translation (see About for which translation and its public-domain status). You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, redistribute or build a competing product from its content without permission.

You can delete your own account at any time from Profile > Account — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms (e.g. abuse of the service or its AI features), with notice where reasonably possible.

Daily Light is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features (including which AI provider or Bible translation is used) may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to factors outside our control (including third-party AI providers, our database provider, or push notification services).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daily Light and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content or any other content in the app. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where Daily Light's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We haven't yet published a specific named legal entity or jurisdiction for Daily Light — if that matters for your use of the app, contact us at dvxlabs@zohomail.com and we'll follow up directly.

If these terms change materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Daily Light after a change means you accept the updated terms.
